I know better than to read the op-eds on this site. But this is a hilariously discrediting paragraph. Thanks for disclosing that all of your opinion on this derives from profit-driven actors.

Fascinating how many people are unable to process a consistent set of ideas that doesn't conform to American political categories. Or that the American Catholic hierarchy is its own weird thing.

The destruction of Hamas is the aim of one of the parties to a war. Here it is stated as an objective requirement of reality. Consistent unexamined bias of coverage is one of the things I teach students to look out for. Didn't use to feel the need with NYT and WaPo.
