This is a lie. We could literally become property of different corporations, give up every shred of our humanity, and get nothing in return. If we don't demand better, hold them to the same standard as the rest of us, they will destroy us all. Demand humanity. Seems logical enough.
Our public library was a partner in parenting. A reward for good behavior, a safe haven to get out of the house, a doorway to adventure, a place of controlled rebellion. My kids were known and valued by the staff. A true overlooked treasure that quietly supports communities in a hundred ways.

What's happening is truly shameful. I like the idea that other countries are filing charges and may release unredacted versions.
Watching EM is like watching a small child who thinks they're invisible, but everyone else can see what they're really doing. x1000.
Natural consequences are highly effective in changing behavior. There are plenty of studies that show that anonymity gives people permission to be their worst selves.
"Good Guy Syndrome" props up patriarchy. If you aren't speaking up in situations that prop up patriarchy, you are perpetuating it. Same concept with racism and illegal deportations and ableism. Privilege comes with responsibility.
The invisible work load placed on women is difficult to describe and qualify. Too often it's dismissed as complaining without taking a good look at the balance of responsibilities in a relationship (or workplace). This sculpture accurately represents the lived experience of most women.
Justice is accountability and consequences for a person's actions. We should all be held to the same standards.
Stop protecting pedophiles. Release the unredacted Epstein files. Prosecute acts of sexual assault, abuse, and violence. Prosecute embezzlement. Prosecute whatever illegal behavior is documented there regardless of who it is. Give immunity only in cases where people have to admit guilt.
