"Wait, we're doing this again?! So soon?! "...wait, why aren't you flying this one? A delay?? We could've gotten there sooner in our plane?!!?" "I know, Hachiroku, I know...."
the Defiant is taking a little (a long) break... hope to be flying with everyone again soon!!
I snagged a Thomas & betts (now ABB) TBM5 off of eBay a while back, I think it supports up to 500k circular mil with the right die I gotta get into pulsed power so I have an excuse for a hydraulic baddie
really happy that I have honed my skills enough to handle both 4awg and 41awg pic 1: plane getting a tip to tail rewire (4awg starter circuit) pic 2: rework at my day job, the thinnest wire there is 41awg, only 71um across
Hachiroku: "Oh wow, California Adventure is a lot bigger than I thought! And it's the small park?!" #ぬいハチ
very excited to be making plans for an LSRI-A course!!! i'm going to become a real plane mechanic (a baby one) instead of just playing one on the internet hoping to carve out some time for LSRM in the near future, too!!
good day today! enough mind space to get back down to the hangar. time to replace a cylinder! #1, the one pointed by the arrows, has 0 compression in testing -- though the engine runs fine! each cylinder is separate, bolted to a central crankcase in a flat-4 config (pic 1)!
i'm really happy that the LA Metro is making so much progress with the D line and various extensions -- for contrast, remember that LA had zero local rail from _1961-1990_. zero passenger lines operational. in comparison you can find fun snippets like this in Tokyo guides
hachiroku: "We're doing this again?!" loaded schedule this time but I'm back for more...!
context: working with a colo provider that sent me some IPs, so I'm curious about they're connected. punch the IP into the looking glass and get this result from HE. then this from cogent tracert ...these IPs are wrong right? is there some way traffic could get to them anyway??
network folks, routing q...! if a prefix isn't showing up as announced on several major looking glasses (HE, verizon, cogent), is there any way an IP in that block is usable?
people use Greek and Hebrew letters in their equations (β, ℵ) but can I whip out 串 in my delicious equations
did you know that your rocket engine might have spark plugs? and that some models might even use coil-on-plug? not a joke: NASA funded some prototyping with NAPA/O'Reilly/Autozone parts for starting a main engine, really neat (and sensical) technology.nasa.gov/patent/MSC-T...
no April fool's from me folks hope instead you can all watch the Artemis II launch -- people are going to go orbit the moon!!
this was a fun quiz and honestly a lot cooler than i thought it'd be
I love the optimism of the NCUA. more front facing agency sites need to bring this energy (from ncua.gov/support-serv...)
yeah the waitress was totally in the right here (dracu-riot, miu's route)
i'm so happy that my local animate is thriving... look, they have a whole end cap for the JP (JP!!) version of green yuri (kinioto / TGSWIIWAGAA) amazing times we live in
looking for folks interested in general aviation and weeby content creation -- you a vtuber? a streamer? a pilot? want to come along on wacky aviation trips and do your finest oshikatsu? let's talk!! google not-dockey: forms.gle/3b9TibRJXg3u...
in line for a limited edition bag drop at trader Joe's somehow it's comforting that we also have "line, California" and I like it just as much as "line, Japan"
