🧶🇨🇦🇨🇦 Canadian Senior Feisty Lady. No DMs. I follow politics because so many people didn’t/don’t. Hate to say I told you so, BUT I TOLD YOU SO. What happens when we don’t listen to politics and don’t watch the News because it’s too depressing? Trump🤬
My day started with this sleeping-like-a-baby furball putting the tips of his lethal claws into my arm, at 6 a.m. He’s always testing out new methods to get the Human Food Dispenser out of bed. “I need my breakfast NOW because my nap is scheduled for 6:30.”
#Showmeyourknits Two of my current projects: Tote bags. Sunflowers for my daughter… Birds for my friend’s birthday. #WIP Next up: A tote bag with piano keys and musical notations for my sister.
Happy One Year Adoption Anniversary, Kitty Fred. ❤️ Thanks for the JOY you bring to my life. (And thanks for the little stuffed mousies you leave on my bed. )
#showmeyourknits I’m a Waste-Not, Want-Not person, so whenever I have a lot of small pieces of yarn left over, I make something weird and colourful. This is my newest Weird. Ready to go to the local Thrift Store. #childsweater
How is the cat supposed to get from the floor to the basket on top of the cupboards, if he can’t get on the counter? Sheesh…
I love the work of Reilly Fitzgerald! I bought one of his calendars a few years ago, and at the end of the year, I placed my favourite pictures in frames. They still adorn my walls.
Pick him up tonight! I guarantee that within 3 months, kitty will have no memory of what made him so sad, and he will be living his best life ❤️ (Speaking from experience. My Fred is proof. Celebrating one year adoption on June 13.)
#showmeyourknits #sweaterweek Some of my sweaters…Kind of fond of colour.
#showmeyourknits #knitting wip… Using up my leftover yarn for a colourful scarf.
Sorry not sorry…This is Fred taking a nap this afternoon. He’s such a lovable goofball.
Another Fred Kitty post… His newest place to be. Took me a while to find him. My little weirdo ❤️
Live and learn…I chose to use dark colours for my cold temperature days. Big mistake. It’s mostly grey and black so far…(Note the one slightly warmer day…)
Finally finishing last year’s “leftover yarn” project. Just have sleeve and neckline to go… Child’s pullover will go to charity.
I’m coming up on a year of my own “gotcha day“… and he is also named Fred. Love him to pieces ❤️
I used up most of my stash in two diagonal baby blankets (white background).
Fred says he could care less about the awards. Just keep the treats coming.
#ShowYourKnits Temperature blanket. Almost finished BOTH baby blankets. And this colourful pullover went home to my great niece.
