Whether or not I've agreed with past presidents politically, I've never felt that any of them were this level of demented or that the Congress was this level of complicit. Regan and Biden...some slippage. This man? Waaaay down the slippery slope.

I just finished re-reading The Lord of the Rings. This time, I appreciated what the Hobbits had to go through when they reached the Shire on a much deeper level. They took back their own, but they had a lot of cleanup to do, and some things just could never be repaired or replaced. 🙁
