Yesterday in Parliament, members and the Secretariat of the APPG for Visual Arts & Artists were pleased to meet with Peter Heslip, Director of Visual Arts at Arts Council England to discuss recommendations from the independent review by Baroness Hodge published in March 2026.
DACS is seeking a Policy and Public Affairs Manager to lead our influencing, advocacy and public affairs work at a critical time for artists’ rights. If you have strong political judgement, excellent writing skills and a passion for culture, rights and public policy, we would love to hear from you.
One of our highlights was a mini masterclass led by Senior Account Executive Amberley Jamieson on copyright essentials and using images with confidence. Meanwhile, our stand showcased a range of projects that demonstrated the breadth of collaborations we have supported between artists and clients.
Last week, the DACS Licensing team joined cultural organisations, artists and industry professionals from across the sector at the @museumsandheritage.com show, highlighting the value of copyright and the creative opportunities unlocked by licensing.
