The original cover of Where’d You Go Bernadette? Felt like it trivialized what was a rather formally inventive (and comic) book. Although looking at it again over a decade later, it seems less embarrassing to me than it did back then. Maybe I’m just more mature or less self-conscious.

Culinary experiment for today, Crepas a la Mexicana. My crepe game is garbage. Crepes were either scrambled batter or too thick for the name. Fortunately I have lots of extra filling so I’ll try doing the crepes again, applying some of what I learned today.

Shrinkflation in the literary world: Ten years ago the anthology from @pushtheneedle.bsky.social was Pushcart Prize XL and now it’s merely Pushcart Prize L. Eventually we’ll be seeing Pushcart Prize M, just watch.
