Sat out at the Red Robin cafe in Stonehaven, and it's really nice and warm. Also, the town is RAMMED today.
Without downloading new pics, describe your gender with one image.
‘Up through tragic smoke, spirals the here and now. This was a day knocked sideways: hearts pummelled so far from the sea that folded around the souls of honest graft. When you get there, shake their hands.’ Remembering the 167 dead at Piper Alpha, 38 years on.
If a picture said a thousand words... I'm really proud of this photo, as it was taken on an iPhone 8 about 5 years ago, and I was waiting to get to my old gaff. It was only later when The Ma showed me how good a shot this was. Stupidly published online for nowt.
Anyone else howling with laughter here? (If you can't read it, check the alt text).
Folks, I find myself in a weird position. The local football team here (with great fans), have an away shirt inspired by my favourite building here in Aberdeen. I'm also not keen on giving Celtic FC any Dosh til they sort the board out. But I don't know if I can wear the shirt. What do you think?
Here is my #1MinuteReview of #Supergirl. Spoilers. And a slightly sleepy me. It just takes some time....
I adhere to mine about as well as I can, and help where I can. However, I don't use my faith to oppose people's rights. Hopefully, that's the last time I will address that elephant in the room.
To be fair, he did look like everyone's uncle who may or may not have tickets for the GAA. Image for clarification.
So, here at Gaelic Lane Cafe, host of Speaking Weird and so so so many groups, they do the best Chai Latte in the city. It's impressive
So... Aberdeen has a FreshMex and they have a meal deal on. This, plus a can of Irn Bru, for just shy of a tenner. A full size burrito, nachos and a can of juice. Not bad!
King Charles the inbred: "Scottish fans should support England now". Me: ahem...
Yes, Hayden Panettiere (pictured) would have been a great Supergirl, I'm not saying she wouldn't be, but we have Milly Alcock. A braw bonnie lassie with great comedy instincts and capable of doing her own stunts. If ye huvnae seen the film yet- gonnae wrap it pals? Gie the lass her chance.
Well, after a shorter than expected hospital visit, I'm being treated to a Burger King. Best thing about this particular BK? It's right by the beach. The other one with a drive thru is near the hospital, and we've kinda made this a tradition.
Every hometown's got the ominous megastructure, what's yours?
So... From July onwards, you're gonna see me around with new glasses.
Can confirm, the coffee is braw. Love Shelter's coffee. If in Aberdeen, it's right on the entrance to Old Hight Street, not far from the Blackwell's.
Told you I had a big cock, I just never said it was attached to me. Happy Pride 🏳️🌈
So,- 3 films today, only one reshow. Firstly, Devil Wears Prada 2- that's at 11:20, Followed by Disclosure Day- which I'm seeing more or less immediately after in the same screen. Finally, Toy Story 5. Thoughts on all 3 will be in video format.
Nope. Not now, not ever. Dean Cain is the antithesis of what Superman should be. Which is a shame, as he *nailed it* back in the 1990s
So, near to my old stomping ground is a McArthur Glen shopping centre, which used to have three viking boats in the middle. After an exhaustive search on Google, I could only find one of them. They're not longer there, but this was Magnus's Boat. They all had names.
I'd become Batman. Or Iron Man, just without the selling WMDs part. I even have the beard now
As for shops that I'd love to see a return of: Jack Fulton's. Bloody loved those shops.
