A commission I finished for @lukaneff.bsky.social of her ferris wheel Cursed OC, Clair! I was tasked to design this character from nearly the ground-up - with some guidelines - and I had a lot of fun coming up with this! Thank you for commissioning me!

A gigantic monstruosity forming a ferris wheel of flesh in multiple skin tones. Her central housing is lined with teeth, from which emerge many long, too-many-jointed arms splitting in two at the end to form hands. Each hand sports an eye; they are in alternating colors. Some of the hands hold onto ferris wheel carriages, which are still inorganic an resemble those of the original structure; however, they are connected to long, fleshy tubes, and when open, are organic inside, with teeth and tongues and intestinal textures. A large eye gazes from the center of the wheel, and she is supported by four legs that bifurcate at the ends. The central wheel and legs are dotted with bits of rusting metal pipe.

This took SO much time, but it is finally done to the best of my current ability for the time being. There's stuff I might fix later, but I put it off for too long as-is. Wanted to see if I could draw one of my favorite hand losers (affectionate) without a sketch. It's messy and I did it in dim lighting so my color choices aren't great, but it only took about an hour so I don't mind it.

Tale as old as time; starting a traditional media drawing too low on the page and having a bunch of blank canvas above it and no real way to use up that negative space.

A hunched 'human' figure with ashy brown hair in a gray puffy hoodie, green shirt, and blue jeans. While walking home today, I randomly had the idea to revise a really old character, but I gaslit myself into what she looked like. I dug up like three really old pics and misremembered all of them, haha.

Love going through old-ass art trying to find a character I've apparently gaslit myself into remembering having drawn (I can even see the pose in my head), and finding the weirdest shit in the process instead (like this notecard of random goobers from 2003)

A seahorse made of guts, a googly-eyed head with knives and cleavers for limbs, a football with warty clawed legs, a melting face, a disembodied tongue slug with googly eyestalks, and a nondescript googly-eyed blob growing tiny, clawed, flailing limbs. I apparently had a googly eyes phase in late high school.

All four of Psalm's forms; default, Once-Entangled, Twice-Entangled, and Obsession-Corrupted. Obsession-Corrupted has the same colors as default because she actually transforms; the other two are her swapping places with other bodies elsewhere in the world which she's modified herself for self-defense. The colors of her details - the 'veins' and pseudo-eyes, change to match whatever had that body is wearing, for her own ease of identification.

"...You’re... You’re making a... a mistake..." If anything, this was my mistake. It took so long to finish because I wanted to use the larger surface area to try and get more out of Psalm's dark-iridescent/oil sheen. Also obligatory 'solid light background for silhouette' inclusion. #LookOutsideOC

Psalm in her "Twice-Entangled" form, which she only takes on if attacked unprompted while in her Once-Entangled form. A chaotic mess of oily 'flesh' and teeth and eyes and blue pseudo-eyes and veins, with a blue cross cap on the top of the mess nowhere near where any of the multiple implied heads are.

Tried to fix my pen again, did what I know I wasn't supposed to do with a 14k nib and used pliers. Nearly ruined them permanently, but it was nigh-unusable and would either need replacement if I did nothing, or I'd try and fix it and have a 50/50 chance to either fix it or still need to replace it.

A bunch or fleshy ribbons with eyes and teeth, with black ink in a busted Pilot Namiki, with added details in lighter brown with a Pilot Metropolitan.

Argh, in the process of helping someone on my way home, the drink I had on me spilled into my bag and got my tablet (thankfully safe) and pooled to the corner of my sketchbook. The part of me that is very particular about my sketchbooks reels looking at it knowing it was probably preventable.

My fountain pen/Tombow sketchbook, propped up and fanned out on top of my air purifier, with the bottom corner of many of the pages wet and bleeding upwards, with the colors from each page getting to adjacent pages and generally looking unsightly.

Wanted to try something different while inking and immediately regretted coloring this. While the lines didn't bleed, they also got completely eaten by the darker colors rather than there being a multiplicative effect. Oh well, live and fail and learn. #LookOutside

A strange, chaotic shadow creature stands in the dark hallway beyond the peephole...

Despite chaotic appearances, she is friendly... though seeing Psalm in this form locks her into a sequence of events resulting in her performing a truncated Ritual, and getting corrupted by a version of Obsession that's been trying to get in contact with Sybil, making her hostile in desperation.

Minute, AKA Minuteman (who's actually a woman), a time-controlling Conscript who was originally a handworm-infected human before wandering into the landlord's warzone. She stands in a red and brown room, looking tired as she uses her flintlock rifle as a walking stick.

Minute in combat form, donning an army helmet and holding her rifle at the ready. Her grip on the rifle doesn't seem like she can fire it - at this point she is just posturing as a threat. If she were to get serious, she would use her time-stopping powers to unload rapid-fire aimed rifle shots, only to return to an improper grip on resuming time.
