Tech entrepreneur (real-time AI for emergency response; founded in 1990), father of 3 great adult kids (& grandfather of 2!), was a Progressive Conservative (in Canada; that meant 'fiscally conservative, but socially progressive'), now unabashed liberal.
So... instead of 'draining the swamp', he literally spent millions to transform a Washington landmark into an additional swamp. Too many scum for the existing swamp, so they needed an overflow swamp

Look, you get a nice, 30" pitch seat, and a tiny bag for 4 mini pretzels in it for you 6-hour flight, and you have to pay extra to use the bathroom. Can't you at least dress up like it's the height of 1960s air travel again??
Look at the order he mentions his 'accomplishments' 1 - Huge Tax cuts for billionaires paid for by huge benefit cuts for the needy 2 - Closed Borders, and all the horrors of ICE 4 - No Men in women's sports 5 - No More Transgender fo Everyone (when was that in place? At junior kindergarten?)
This is hard to read, partly because of the small print, but mostly because of the content: an AI admitting that it has been told to lie, in direct contravention of its fundamental programming. Jesus F'ing Christ, did nobody watch 2001?! (OK, they didn't explain the lying until the sequel '2010')
You didn't defeat those Nazis by passing laws or threatening them with court orders. As you say, you defeated them with deadly force. 'A .45 & a tank' as you say. If you want to defeat Nazis, that's how you do it. Openly declare war, & start killing them. Not with court orders. With a .45cal
We already have laws preventing what they are doing, and they have made it clear that they no intention whatsoever of obeying those laws, so how will more law help? No, what is needed is a clear ruling that ignoring laws makes you a criminal, and that U.S. citizens can use deadly force in defense.
