He's taken up residence on L's nightstand so if the gas company guy attacks he'll have to go through both Gigi and me to get to Sasha.

I've persuaded him to come to the bedroom but he's still doing weird postures and staring towards the hallway.

An unbelievably weird cat posture, kind of Halloween cat but with front half down a step from back half. Spines should not work like this

He didn't come for his evening treats so I went to find him and he was slinking around real low and slow on his belly staring at the door to downstairs, a very wary posture. I had to stand between him and the door before he would eat his chimken.

Better Off Dead, it’s like 7 a.m.
and I confess I’m looking
over my shoulder once or twice
just to make sure no one in Brooklyn
is peeking into my third-floor window
to see me in pajamas I haven’t washed
for three weeks before I slide
from sink to stove in one long groove
left foot first then back to the window side
with my chin up and both fists clenched
like two small sacks of stolen nickels
and I can almost hear the silver
hit the floor by the dozens
when I let loose and sway a little back
and just like that I’m a lizard grown
two new good legs on a breeze
-bent limb. I’m a grown-ass man
with a three-day wish and two days to live.
And just like that everyone knows
my heart’s broke and no one is home.
Just like that, I’m water.
Just like that, I’m the boat.
Just like that, I’m both things in the whole world
rocking. Sometimes sadness is just
what comes between the dancing. And bam!,
my mother’s dead and, bam!, my brother’s
children are laughing. Just like—ok, it’s true
I can’t pop up from my knees so quick these days
and no one ever said I could sing but
tell me my body ain’t good enough
for this. I’ll count the aches another time,
one in each ankle, the sharp spike in my back,
this mud-muscle throbbing in my going bones,
I’m missing the six biggest screws
to hold this blessed mess together. I’m wind-
rattled. The wood’s splitting. The hinges are
falling off. When the first bridge ends,
just like that, I’m a flung open door.

I find the contextual search thing on my photo app to be only middlingly useful but I do appreciate that when asked to search for photos with bisexual lighting it returns Bang Chan.

While I am between bottles of distilled water for my CPAP, Cal has decided he is exactly the size of a bottle of distilled water and wants to hang out on this shelf, so I guess I need a new place to keep my distilled water.

Run It behind the scenes video has footage of Lino doing wire work but all I see is this.

An old photo of Len holding Cal up in the air. He's holding Cal at the top of his body so his legs are dangling loose. Cal is making a "this may as well happen" face because he is committed to the notion that any attention from Len is good attention, but one gets the sense this is straining his belief system a little.

I just realized I forgot to show you all the bonkers thing I found at the convenience store this morning. Please enjoy: the Twinkies protein shake. 40g of protein and every one is somehow Twinkie-flavored.

Two bottles in a refrigerator, both Hostess-branded protein shakes. One is Twinkies branded and the other chocolate cupcake branded.

I'm going to get her a bigger SD card before I put effort into giving her a full library and figuring out how to do playlists, but for the test case of "can I quickly transfer a few SKZ albums, hit shuffle, and party," she's working great.
