Continued working on the Yantra-inspired geometric painting. What are your thoughts so far? Let me know in the comments! #color #geometricart #yantra

Continued working on my feminine abstract painting - it was inspired by a song, so I was listening to the song on repeat and just painting. What are your thoughts so far? #abstractpainting #oilpainting #feministart
Working on the new landscape again, getting the background colors in place. #color #oilpainting #landscapepainting
Added the other yellow to the Flower Of Life (working title). I think I will make the yellow petals more opaque; I am uncertain about the oranges and reds. What do you think? #sacredgeometry #color #floweroflife #geometricart
“Death To Freedom,” a work shaped by the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade — a decision that continues to endanger women and girls, strip away bodily autonomy, and turn freedom into something conditional. What does freedom mean when it is taken from half the population? #antiscotus
Finally got the second color completed! What should I paint next on this one: the third layer (which will be blue again) or another area? Let me know in the comments! #cosmic #cosmos #color #geometricart
Happy Birthday, Gustave Klimt! What do you like about his artwork? Let me know in the comments! #artistbirthday #gustaveklimt
“No Justice For Us” — a painting for the women who carry what should never have been theirs to carry. Triangles are said to be the most stable form, yet even they can stand inside a world that remains unstable for women... What does justice mean when women are still unprotected? #feministart
Still painting the second layer on this cosmos-inspired geometric painting! #cosmic #cosmos #geometricart
It's National Eat Your Jello Day! What flavor jello do you like? Let me know in the comments! #nationaleatyourjelloday
Happy Birthday, Whistler! What do you like/dislike about this artist? Let me know in the comments! #artistbirthday #jamesabbotmcneilwhistler
No Justice For Us. I didn't like the pink I added: the infinity in pink, meaning innocence, did not feel right. So I added some black. What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments! #nojusticeforwomen #LossOfInnocence #SCOTUS #antiscotus
Cosmos Inspired: Continued with the quinacridone over ultramarine blue - it's a big area!! lol! #cosmos #cosmic #color #geometricart
You may be asking yourself: Why is she painting over the ultramarine blue that she spent so many hours on? Well, I am creating an illusory purple; by layering ultramarine blue and quinacridone red repeatedly, I will create a purple that has depth and dimension! Let me know your thoughts about this!
It's National Sugar Cookie Day! What is your favorite sugar cookie? Let me know in the comments! #nationalsugarcookieday
Happy Birthday, Artemisia Gentileschi! What do you like/dislike about this Caravagesque artist? Let me know in the comments! #artistbirthday #ArtemisiaGentileschi #caravagesque
Heart shaped strawberry! #strawberry #heart #strawberryshortcake
I wanted to share Calming Candle. It’s an 18x18 composition of simple geometric forms resting on folded fabric, where cool navy and warm apricot balance each other and light creates clear, quiet volumes. The arrangement feels orderly and slightly architectural while still keeping a calm presence.
I’ve always been drawn to the places where a painting is expected to choose a side—structure/softness, pattern/feeling, geometry/hand that made it. The rule I love breaking: abstraction must be detached, and that beauty must be orderly to be serious. What art rule do you think is worth breaking?
Not Your Grandmother's Cameo is my modern take on a classic motif. I worked with repeating geometric shapes and bold color to build something that feels precise but alive. The four quadrants echo each other with small shifts, so each one reads a little differently. What do you see in these shapes?
Happy Birthday, Marc Chagall! What do you like/dislike about his artwork? Let me know in the comments! #artistbirthday #marcchagall
Happy Birthday Frida Kahlo! What do you like/dislike about her art? Let me know in the comments! #artistbirthday #fridakahlo
