A busy first week for the new Prime Minister, and I’m delighted that issues my colleagues and I have been raising are being listened to. Here is what is being delivered for our community 👇

After their victory on Saturday against Norway, I'm wishing the squad the very best of luck tonight for England's World Cup semi final against Argentina. I'll be joining everyone across the Bexleyheath & Crayford constituency cheering the team on and hoping for a win. 🦁🦁🦁
England's historic victory with a 3-2 win against Mexico has secured their place in the quarter finals. I'm wishing the squad the very best of luck in their match tonight against Norway. Come on England! 🦁🦁🦁 🏴
For years, residents in Crayford have endured repeated leaks & road closures. Following Thursday’s burst water main, I’ve written to Thames Water's Chief Executive for an explanation as to why this has happened again despite repeated warnings & calls for investment in Crayford.

A huge sigh of relief as Harry Kane saved the day shoring up a 2-1 win against the Democratic Republic of Congo, which was closer than many of us imagined. Now it’s all eyes on Mexico. Keep the faith and let's bring it home. Come on England! 🦁🦁🦁
Had a great time at the Crayford Community Group’s Duck Day yesterday. Huge thanks to volunteers for the duck races & range of activities & to The City of God & Lindy Lou Tea Room for their support. Special thanks to Geraldene, Tiffany & Charlie for keeping the group running.
It’s 2 years today since my election in Bexleyheath and Crayford. It’s a honour to represent the area I love in Parliament. We've seen a range of investment in local schools, NHS services, roads & trains but lots still to do to keep delivering across the constituency.
Retail workers are at the💜of our communities. I'm proud to have been an USDAW member on the shopfloor & now in Parliament. A huge thank you to our hardworking retail staff this National Retail Workers’ Day for the vital role they play in our high streets & communities. #NRWD26
As they enter the round of 32, I'm wishing the England squad all the best of luck as they take on DR Congo today. Here's hoping for a win and a match against Mexico next Monday. Come on England! 🦁🦁🦁🏴
Following the frustrating draw on Tuesday night, I'm wishing the England squad all the best of luck as they take on Panama tonight and I hope to see them finish top of their group. Come on England! 🦁🦁🦁🏴
I am wishing Scotland the best of luck as they attempt to make history by reaching the knockout stage of the World Cup for the first time. Here's hoping they get a result against Brazil tonight.
Following last week's victory against Croatia, I'm wishing the England squad all the best of luck as they take on Ghana tonight. Come on England! 🦁🦁🦁🏴
Please see my statement following the Prime Minister's announcement that he will resign later this summer.
Happy Father’s Day - a day to celebrate fathers and father figures for everything they do, and remember those who are no longer with us.

Today the Government has announced they will bring forward a social media ban for under-16s. I was proud to be one of a group of MPs who wrote to the Prime Minister back in January calling for a ban, but have pressed for wider consultation to understand the impacts of it.
Congratulations to Kay Salter on receiving a MBE for services to Disabled People & to the community in Bexley. Kay has dedicated over 50 years as a volunteer of Falcon Spartak Gymnastics Club. Like many local parents, I’m grateful for the support she’s given to my children.

I have written to the leader of Kent County Council along with my fellow MPs @jimdickson.bsky.social and @abenaoppongasare.bsky.social to call on the Reform leader to reconsider their proposed 'Bus Tax' increase to allow buses to serve Bluewater Shopping Centre.

I've written to the Chief Executive of @LBofBexley regarding the planning application for 12 flats on the former Tennis Courts at Old Manor Way in Barnehurst. The application will be returning to the Planning Committee on 11th June, eight months after it was deferred.
Today, we commemorate 82 years since the Normandy landings, beginning the liberation of Western Europe. I visited the beaches earlier this year & paid tribute to those troops. We honour the bravery and sacrifice of all those who fought and defeated fascism. We will remember them.
I visited Russ The Chipper Bexleyheath on Long Lane for national fish and chip day! Great fish & chips with an expanding gluten free menu available everyday on request. Go out and support your local chippie today. #nationalfishandchipday
