Yesterday’s hike was brilliant. We’re heading to the Cotswolds next weekend and needed to test our gear. The day started rainy, with a little wind, and ended sunny. Conditions couldn’t have been better, and the area we hiked through was gorgeous 🌞 www.alltrails.com/en-gb/trail/...
Really enjoying “Greyhound” by @joannapocock.bsky.social, an especially great companion while traveling in the US. Pretty sure it’ll make an appearance in one of my upcoming newsletters.
The other day I found myself at Söderbokhandeln Hansson & Bruce in Stockholm, and ... this is the best book store I've ever visited. Beautiful space, a fantastic collection, many books from small presses, many in translation, they had me hopping from shelf to shelf.
Trema is starting to do well in Google, with my reviews sometimes appearing among the top 5 links for certain book titles. I better fix that favicon :) → trema.website

Walking part of the Cotswold Way during a weekend in April. Chipping Campden → Broadway → Winchcombe. Really looking forward to it (and, really hope the Eurostar doesn’t crap out on us).
Nosferatu (2024). Absolutely one of my favourite films I've seen in recent years. Every frame a painting.
Reorganised our bookcase this past weekend, with a special nook reserved for @fitzcarraldoeds.bsky.social. (This is also when I found my signed special edition of Kate Briggs’ “This Little Art” has water damage from where it was stored before, but oh, it’s still in … decent shape.)
The renewed local library has turned into a wonderful place. Always buzzing. I visit it often to pick up a book and have a coffee or tea at the tea bar they incorporated.
Every time Mo Salah gets the ball, I expect we lose it. He needs three touches to control the ball, and just the one to lose it. Such a bummer to see how quick he’s slid downhill. (Wirtz and Ekitiké on the other hand, stellar combo 🫶) #LFC
