Former Eurovision fan press, now mostly talking about music from The Netherlands, Portugal, and Sápmi. Some other stuff, too.
Have decided the think I love the most about the UK is the sheer amount of museums and galleries (and other places of interest) that are completely free to enter. Was in Edinburgh over the weekend and didn't pay a single penny for admission anywhere.
Perhaps not quite the worst Prime Minister we've ever had, but potentially the most stupid.
Still not sure how I ended up as the type of person that flies to another country for a gig (or two) - but I'm sure glad I did MEAU - Theater de Spiegel - Zwolle
FdCArchive on the other place are running an FdC top 100 over at festivaldacancao.netlify.app and I implore you all to give a massive 12 points to Lisboa by Capital da Bulgária
I am incredibly lucky to say that I've been able to witness the artistry of Mari Boine first hand. A legend and a trailblazer for Sámi music.
Happy Sámi National Day from probably the biggest Sámi Music Nerd on Bluesky! Figured I'd take the time today to highlight some of my favourite Sámi artists in a (not so) little thread:
I'm sure Sonia Maselik, who said when asked her favourite song from Eurovision was Hurricane by Eden Golan, definitely values representation of pro Palestinian voices
Final placements. Good to see a lot of my ones that didn't make the list rising!
