Today I pause to remember Ossie's right hand man, and my great mentor, Ernie Carroll. He would be 97 today and celebrating with our dear mate, Mr. Blackman.
I can imagine them preparing the Hey Hey We're in Heaven show, waiting for my arrival and that of the other person in the photo, Murray Tregonning, SFX man extraordinaire!
Of course, Murray and I would like to think that show will be quite a way down the track.
It will be a live event from the Garden of Eden with the most amazing guest lineup you could possibly imagine.
I refer to this group as the original Gang of Four, that fate brought together to spread fun and laughter throughout the land from the early 70s onwards.
Much love to all that go back that far.

It’s Monday so it’s house reset day and Nyssa is helping by playing with a toy mousey on the kitchen floor. She dropped the mousey at my feet, and I kicked it thinking she would chase it. No. Instead she just looked at me with this hurt little face until I showed her where the mousey was. All good!
