Picked up my #CSA share from Ecolibrium in Redmond. Looking forward to to all this deliciousness (and pretties).

My mom made me a butterfly sandwich.

My cats usually have a catio they can go outside in. But we’ve been rebuilding our deck for a few months. Sitting in front of of the door is not the same. Sirius escaped today and the foreman had to catch him. Poor kitties.

Enjoying the sunshine and the fact that I live on a lake.

I went outside onto my dock to take pictures of the Glock of cormorants that have been hanging out. As I started to step down I was startled by this duck. Until I realized it was a decoy. Now I’m just trying to figure out how it got there.

There’s a person I’ve seen a few times paddling a surfboard on their stomach in the middle of my suburban lake. On previous days I’ve watch them attempt to stand and have the board shoot up into the air. I wonder what their goal is.

Taught myself how to do cyanotyping. It’s a little tricky in Western Washington in late September because you have to catch the sun when it’s out. But it did poke out for a few minutes.
