So Abdul El-Sayed has won the Democratic U.S. Senate primary in Michigan. Given how close the results were, and given how many votes to McMorrow would have given Stevens the win, AES will have to do a LOT of ass kissing in order to win. I don't see it happening in November.

Another hero of the Revolution to celebrate is James Forten. Mr. Forten was one of the foremost Black Patriots of his time, and he used his great wealth and status from being a sailmaker (even owning a business he bought from his boss) to support abolition and Black civil rights in Philadelphia.
To celebrate the bravery of those that helped lead us to our independence, I'll start with Haym Salomon. Mr. Salomon was a Polish-born Jewish merchant who, through his own efforts, raised over $650k to finance the Revolution. By the time he died, he was left penniless and his debt never repaid.
