Also I love Black Hat 🎩🖤 He is written so consistently and faithfully to his char description (evilsexual retired master of villainy) that his near-omnipotence remains cool instead of eye-rolling Plus the creator made a great call not having him be the lead. The short doses of him work much better

I think WBD screwed up hard by not promoting the show more. It has the edge that animation audiences are craving right now, good humor and goofiness that makes it "safe" from a distributor perspective, and its free of clumsy melodrama that's been weighing down two of its competitors cough cough

One episode has a fully written out contract for the villain organization they're a part of, and this is just the kind of fine detail I'm hoping to put into my own works #Villainous

I've never heard Cusack sing when he's doing his craggy voice but I think he could pull it off if he smooths it out a little. Like that part in S2E07 from when Mammon tells Fizz he's gotta make a good impression. Those few sentences he momentarily slipped out of Mammon's normal rough inflection.

I don't even particularly like the show that has my favorite fictional characters of all time. The supporting cast is very uninspired with little effort put into them. And the episode plots only made use of the show's premise a handful of times over 52 episodes. It hurts but I love the MCs a lot.

I've fallen for a lot of fictional characters over the years but it's rare for me to be in love with both the character(s) and their source material since I'm picky about narrative writing quality which network shows tend to shit the bed on. Last time I was totally in love was Osomatsu-san S1&2.

All outlining and world building DONE. Full event timeline DONE. I even made a damn glossary of in-universe terms from my stories because my brain was in full procrastination mode. All that's left is to write. Even if I wanted to, I can't put it off anymore because there are no distractions left.
