So uhhh… There was a 100% confidence satellite detection of fire right at the NASA station at Robledo de Chavela this afternoon, and detections really close to the ESA station at Cebreros at around midnight…
Deep Space Network site in Robledo (Madrid) is completely offline from the fires :(
These days I've been working on a purple ringed planet, and justifying it as "It's actually a Y-dwarf", but… would that be accurate? I know JPL pictured them like this in 2011 but the color was still conjectural for lack of optical detections. www.jpl.nasa.gov/images/pia14... Has this changed? 🔭

I've also updated this compilation of Star Wars light freighters from before the Prequels. The 3D model for the Kazellis in the upper-right corner is very much a work in progress still

Never imagined I'd be able to texture a 3D model with this level of realistic detail. This is way beyond my original expectations
Man, shaders are magic. Still testing some things, but this is just a single texture dropped on the model, with no different adjustments for different sections yet. What the hell :-|
We got windows and even some details inside the bridge. Almost done with the modeling!
Okay, I think this is a reasonable amount of greebles for the engine section 🤔
Started adding some details in the engine section because it felt a bit empty, although I don't know how many of those will actually be seen later 😬
Without downloading new pics what is it like to date (and/or be married to) you? I sent my gf the post below because it's also representative of her, and she told me to use this one 😂
If the new details I'm adding are so small that they're barely visible in these renders, it's probably a sign that I should be finishing this already… 😅
