Despite what you may think and what people tell you, Barnsley is a really cool place to be now. The town centre development is brilliant. All done by a Labour council that apparently does nothing for the area so voted Reform. It's packed every weekend. 🙄
Finished early today because it was too hot to spray. Anyway, had to nip into town and while I was in there I went into the library to pick up a book and hoping their a/c would be fixed. Nope. Still got the big silly fans blowing hot air round. I'm glad I don't work in there.
Yep. The concentration levels required are immense. We only did single or two day events and you'd need a week off after it. Granted, we didn't have a team of mechanics so we did the repairs and prep work ourselves but it's very all-consuming. Stupidly expensive as well.
F1 is good and all that but rallying will always be the ultimate test of a driver.
