Definitely have hit plenty of rough times post 2010. It comes in waves though, as there have also been plenty of amazing titles to come out of “modern” gaming. Though I do agree, they don’t make them like they used to no more. 👏🙂↕️
It’s crazy how much the Switch 2 is making it feel like the 90s again. All in the Top 10 Best Sellers on Switch 2 e-Shop: - Star Fox - Final Fantasy 7 (twice!) - Digimon - Mario Kart - Legend of Zelda - Pokemon - Donkey Kong I know gaming is kinda bleak atm, but it is nice to see this regardless.🙂↕️
also, probably one of the coolest moments from when I used to do music: Silverstein had listened to some of my solo work and complemented me. Was able to chat with them a bit on ye olde bird app back in the day.
Hair wasn't this long back then, but I think it still looked on point.
Got music on the mind today and reminiscing about when I used to write and perform back in the day. Miss it big time, but also just not on my priority list right this second. Who knows, maybe in the future at some point? 🤔 (Pic is me playing a show circa 2013)

Finally decided to sit down and make a list of upcoming games I wanna play. I’m probably missing a few, but these were the ones that were off the top of my head. Noticing very quickly that the Switch 2 is gonna be my main platform for the foreseeable future. 🤔
Praying for War of the Visions next, because it was my Final Fantasy Tactics fix in a time when all hope was lost on FFT coming back. The story was actually really good and I loved all the characters.
Wasn’t the conclusion I expected based on my answers, but honestly thinking about how Squall grows and opens up by the ending of FF8, yeah. I can feel it. Also fitting that Squall was my first FF Protagonist. I started the series with 8 on my dad’s PS1. 🙂↕️

Good morning gamers! What a crazy week for games! 🙂↕️ If I had to rate the main showcases we’ve had so far, I’d say my favorites in order are: 1. Summer Games Fest 2. Xbox Showcase 3. PlayStation State of Play But all were pretty good this year! Here’s to hoping we see a Nintendo Direct! 👀
Currently playing as a Hroth, but also love Viera, so it’s a tie between those two with a close second being Roeg. I’m leaning more Gridania right in this moment, specifically for the area music and lush greenery. I main Paladin, but have been really into Samurai and Black Mage in the past. 👏
Mine is basically used as my personal machine at work these days in Desktop Mode. Though I do be grinding FFXIV sometimes when work be big dead 👀 My only other recent use case is when Sneef and I wanna play friendslop at the same time, it helps to move to a different room w/ the Deck so no echo.
My main’s name is Alder. I’m a stronk Hroth PLD main these days (tho I been heavy grinding SAM). Also that’s some dedication to the craft, lol
Recently cut Spotify out of my subscription cycle and thanks to @sneeflin.bsky.social surprising me with this neat device, feels like I’m back in High School again listening to and enjoying music I choose vs the algorithm picking for me. #music
