Quote-post @huubeggen.bsky.social: lovely👇choices for #NoctilucentCloud pics About 500 km NE & 900 km W of #Beijing on the interactive map bit.ly/ISS074, there are pins for Huub's post; they also have links to downloadable 24- & 50-mm high-res by astronaut #ChrisWilliams CC: @mohartl.bsky.social
Very nice find - thanks for resharing Taizo’s tweet. FYI: there is a pin on the interactive map bit.ly/ISS074 for your post and it also has links back to Taizo & to you. The pin is where the ||+|| was at photo time, midway between Fukuoka and Hiroshima
Watching the #EsriUC2026 plenary via a virtual feed at an #EsriCanada watch party here in #Halifax with many-many geopeople. It’s great to chat about things and see the plenary. Also … I found a pic of me at the #EsriUC1994!
Hhmm … which takes precedence - the new painted arrow or the older sign?!?
Quote-post @huubeggen.bsky.social: cloud-free👇central #Switzerland! At #Zürich on the interactive map bit.ly/ISS074, there is a green-glow pin for Huub's post; it also has link to the downloadable 800-mm high-res by astronaut #JackHathaway

2/n ... #Barcelona zooming in a bit for this second pic: 460-mm taken 27 May 2026, by #JackHathaway. Original available via one of 3 pins on bit.ly/ISS074, aligned east-west. Interestingly, these three pics were all taken in early afternoon. More in alt.

Sorry to hear this, but encouraged that you two have such an important and strong bond. Something that might "be a part" of many a day - click on a few of the pins on this interactive map and enjoy the beauty of the #Earth as photographed by astronauts on the ||+|| bit.ly/HadfieldISSp...
“Spinning” display of LiDAR point cloud image around COGS. Displayed on a large monitor in one of our hallways.
Great stuff! FYI: want to see (most) of his tweets from the ||+|| that featured pics of #Earth? Try this map bit.ly/HadfieldISSp... (best on a computer)
Some of the posters that we're sending to #GeoIgnite2026 - such a wonderful opportunity to showcase work by COGS students (soon to be grads)!
slight tangent: during his #YearInSpace, @stationcdrkelly.bsky.social had an #EarthArt series of 200+ tweets. They are mapped on the fifth (of 6) "tab" of www.arcgis.com/apps/instant...; many map-pins also have links to downloadable high-res
For #EarthDay2026, try out the Your Name In Landsat from the good folks at NASA: science.nasa.gov/mission/land... Here's me!
More blue sky for blueskyers! (Thanks @edgeoerin.com for your post 👇)
Quote-post @kennethfield.bsky.social: I’ll eat this later on Banana Day!
Anyone want to see presently-on-his-way-back-from-the-Moon Reid Wiseman’s photos of Earth that he took during ||+|| missions 40 & 41, back in 2014? (Best on a computer) For a map, click isspix.com/issexp4041 (takes a min to load); then click his name at lower-left. Enjoy!
Very interesting observations and analysis. On a slight tangent, here is an interactive map with "pictures taken (and shared on social media) by 14 female astronauts on the International Space Station" since 10 Nov 2014: arcg.is/1HmX0f . Adding new map-pins "~weekly"
Quote-post @dutchspace.bsky.social: to commemorate the #ArtemisII launch event today, I’m drinking coffee from this commemorative mug from the first moon landing — July of 1969!
Taken over 41 sec on 23 Mar 2026, here are photos of the rugged Algerian coast with 50-, 65-, 240-, & 340-mm focal lengths; camera setup by #JessicaMeir, #NASA astronaut. Original #NikonZ9, 1/500-sec images are downloadable via green-glow map-pins aligned east-to-west on bit.ly/ISS074. More in alt
