Two fledgling doves on my porch this morning. After this, I watched momma dive, then poppa dove, ward off a gray squirrel. Did you know that gray squirrels will eat them?!

November 8, Parkersburg, WV, my yard is awash with violets, and my white lilac is covered in lush bloom clusters. And snow is forecast for Monday, November 10. Hmmm...
I love when my dogwood turns wine red and my white lilac blooms in late October...
