Yesterday, my supposed rest day, I did over 17000 steps and saw not one, but two exhibitions at Tate Modern. I liked the design of the Picasso exhibition but the Tracey Emin was the one I want to go back to.
Picked the right week to take annual leave. Up early to NHS walk in centre. On the plus side, have to avoid getting dressing wet so can't wash dishes.
Out of office today... saw both women's and men's rugby games and a great day out.
Being welcomed to #ucisa26, great to have a session for first timers.
Taking advantage of child free weekend with a day trip to Lewes to see exhibition of Two Roberts, curated by author @damianbarr.bsky.social at Charleston in Lewes
One highlight of the weekend was watching my first live England rugby game, first live international game in fact. Another highlight was watching Mr14 play his heart out on a cold field in Luton and kicking, tackling and passing and what's more thinking and making good decisions throughout.
Wasn't planning on trip to A&E today, but despite the ensuring delay cake nearly ready
Great afternoon at the rugby Premiership final. Excellent play despite too many knockons, nailbiting finish, controversial referee decisions, great and friendly atmosphere and even pride flags #rugby #Premiership
How on earth did this manage to get packed and delivered without anyone realising they were delivering a nicely sealed bag of air?
After a cold hour of rugby kicking practice, it's definitely time for a slice of cake.
Friends unwell so cancelled tomorrow's afternoon tea, but baked cake anyway.
En route to Microsoft UK HQ yesterday I came across this, a Cheese Barge. Planning my return already!
I spent the book voucher I got from the Women's Christian Temperance Union for the quiz on the dangers of alcohol...
Off to visit Kingston University to admire newish library building and delve into service design and structures #benchmarking #trainskeet
I was inspired by a previous cardamom bun posting and made my own sourdough versions over the weekend. Looked so so, but tasted great.
My post Xmas new cookbook attempt failed, but in the warmer weather, first loaves look (and taste) good. Thanks to @danlepard.bsky.social
Mr12 and I went to the Rugby Premiership Final today, a great, closely fought game. Impressed to see progress flags along with those of all the Premiership clubs. Belonging and inclusion matter.
