Because of an injured muscle in my arse, the usual belts I use are too stiff and could set it off again. So I shopped around and discovered golfing belts. Holy cow! Comfort-tastic! I feel like I've been missing out all these years! I suspect they're a bit "unc".

I have to say that my old Volvo V70 is a very well designed car. It's not just about looks, but things like the split cargo net and folding front passenger seat so I can bring home an enormously long box from IKEA. Even stuff like changing lightbulbs is so easy compared to most cars.

If I'd seen this thread you'd have saved me a while dicking about in Photoshop whilst I procrastinated. I found full black was too hard so pulled it back a touch.

Design isn't the only industry where people take out context and apply dubious takes. When you supply plane parts, every item has to be checked and tested carefully and you need an unbroken chain of paperwork from the metals supplied through to delivery for each item. So parts are costly.

You can see the progression in my 3d printing experiments. These hooks are dead handy as they attach to any desk or worktop so long as there's enough space, but getting the strength right matters. Using a gyroid infill and 1.2mm shell gives a nicer finish and much greater strength than grid + 0.8mm.
