Opening night of #TheOdyssey back at the Directors Village again in 70mm. Glorious film! Can't wait till they do the theater renovation later this year!! And can't wait to see the movie again!

The new Sondheim book by #DanielOkrent is a fast read and a great overview of the man and his work, that pulls info from all the previous Sondheim interviews, articles and books. A fine starting point on the man and his mother!
Celebrating #marilynmonroe's 100th with an @academymuseum.bsky.social screening of "Some Like it Hot." Directed by #BillyWilder, and written by Wilder and #IALDiamond. While nobody is perfect, this movie is. Plus a heartfelt celebration of Marilyn by "Pickles the Drag Queen." Boop, Boopie Do.

At the #DGA for a special 4k restoration screening of #jacquestourneur's 1947 classic noir drama, Out of the Past. First time seeing it and just fabulous! Followed by an amazing chat with #LawrenceKasdan-- all about noir in general and, of course, Body Heat, which I am going to watch again tonight!
