Lettuce is very easy to grow in containers on a small deck. It grows fast! I did that last summer and was harvesting frequently. This summer I’m recovering from a big abdominal surgery, so pushed pause on my container garden.

I can’t do much about the stress inducing state of our country right now. I can only control my reaction to it, and keep moving forward with eating more protein and fiber to help my body instead of just getting cake wasted. Tonight’s meal: egg roll in a bowl with edamame and water chestnuts.

My guess is he’s planning to have ‘marble’ flooring installed and some gilding of the columns, like he had in his NYC apartment. He’s a tenant, not an owner. These changes to a historic public building should not be allowed.
Our guy is a mini dachshund mixed with pom. He’s nearly 12 and just the sweetest little guy. The red color picture was when he was a puppy, and the blanket one is recent (he loves riding in the car in his seat and being cozy).

We got a 2 yr old dog from a trailer park in DeSmet, SD. When we first got her she’d cower and run into her small kennel (it came with her) if one of us picked up any item like a backscratcher. She eventually realized we were safe. We had 15 great yrs w/her. She passed 1/25/25.
