5) Among those, a letter from Mark D. Dupont, Senior Intelligence Oversight Official, to Rep. Tim Burchett, Nov. 1, 2023, stating: "At no point did anyone from the Air Force file a complaint with IOD [Intelligence Oversight Directorate] and IOD took no actions with respect to these conversations."

2) That was the gist of the Fourth Joint Status Report filed by the parties on Aug. 5, 2026. On August 6, U.S. District Judge Leonie M. Brinkema issued a briefing schedule for the next steps in resolving the disagreement over the legal adequacy of the search.

6) After a July 15 confirmation hearing before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, Sen. Mike Rounds (R-SD) submitted to Clayton written questions about the ODNI's role in "UAP transparency." That written exchange appears below.

5) On June 16, an ODNI spokesperson told me and others that the Board's purpose was "to support the President's directive on UAP transparency." Few details have yet been released regarding the Board's structure and operations.

An amendment by Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ) pertaining to incursions by Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) was added to the NDAA passed by the House of Representatives on 7-22-26. On 6-29-26 Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO) sought approval from the House Rules Committee to offer a version of the "UAP Disclosure Act" as an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA, H.R. 8800), but his proposal was not on the list of 312 amendments later made in order by the committee.

BURLISON PROPOSES UAP REVIEW BOARD A 🧵 1) Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO) on 6-18-26 filed at the House Rules Committee a 65-page proposal to establish a review board empowered to locate UAP records and materials, a possible amendment to the FY 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (H.R. 8800).

In an interview 5-5-26, former intel officer David Grusch, now a UAP policy advisor to Rep. Eric Burlison, said he'd prefer not to be "on the public stage." But, "I promise I'll write a book after this is all over. It'll be my leadership meditations...I'll do a media tour or something like that."

3) Lazy forger: The bogus memo identifies the commanding officer of the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower in May 1985 as "Capt. J.W. Jones." The actual commanding officer during all of 1985 was Capt. Richard Chester Macke.

2) Additional documentation on VADM Carter's status prior to July 1, 1985 appears below. The unredacted visibility of the phrase "The material, which exhibits characteristics beyond known," seems an obvious "teaser" by the forger. So does use here of the esoteric name "RAZIEL" as a code word.

FAKE 1) The document below was posted by many X accounts today. It was part of initial DoD UFO dump, then deleted. There are several highly incongruent elements that indicate forgery. VADM P.F. Carter did not become director of the Joint Staff until July 1, 1985, but the memo is dated May 28, 1985.

ii) Kirkpatrick said Gallaudet "expressing interest in leading my maritime efforts..." Phillips: "He [Gallaudet] was very interested in working for us." But Waschull said this was not part of the Kirkpatrick-Gallaudet meeting. Gallaudet says he didn't seek a paid AARO job; no direct evidence he did.

23) In an interview posted September 21, 2022, Tim Gallaudet was enthusiastic about the recent creation of AARO and about Sean Kirkpatrick's qualifications for the directorship. Gallaudet said he had reached out to Kirkpatrick to offer to serve as a pro bono consultant.

22) Here is a video clip in which Tim Gallaudet is heard challenging Sean Kirkpatrick regarding their purported past interactions, to which Kirkpatrick responds. This was near the end of an April 9, 2026 presentation by Kirkpatrick, sponsored by the National Capital Area Skeptics.

7) Seeking to make sense of these starkly conflicting statements, today (May 6, 2026) I conducted a phone interview with Michael E. Waschull, who retired in January 2025 after more than 50 years of service in uniform and as a senior civilian official for various components of the Dept. of Defense.

6) Gallaudet also posted, on April 29, 2026, "The first time I have ever seen or spoken to Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick was on April 9, 2026 at the Center for Naval Analyses event where he spoke on behalf of the Nation[al] Capital Area Skeptics."

5) On May 2, 2026, Gallaudet posted on X, "I have only been to AARO once in person," attaching a calendar notice for a meeting that he had with acting director Tim Phillips and others on May 31, 2024, which was after Kirkpatrick was no longer director.

3) In November 2024, Kirkpatrick said he thought "Mr. Gallaudet is clearly still bitter that I didn't hire him into AARO when he came looking for a job." Kirkpatrick's then-deputy Tim Phillips substantially agreed with Kirkpatrick's accounts.

2) regarding whether Gallaudet and Kirkpatrick ever had a meeting while Kirkpatrick was AARO director. Kirkpatrick said such a meeting occurred in his office, probably in 2023, and that Gallaudet "expressed interest in leading my maritime efforts..."
