Back to baking ... olive, jalapeño and cheese sourdough

Have been so slack/so busy the last month or two ... had planned on tanning my butt, instead I baked ... a sourdough loaf, caramelised onions, cheese and bacon ... and had fish and chips for dinner too ... such a lazy fuck today 🤣

It's been that long since I've posted anything ... just todays sourdough loaf ... yes I'm still breathing 🤣🤣🤣

I had seen some recently, it was a rare sighting. Where I was staying I had king parrots (which were very friendly), cockatoos, some of which were black and red, and other birds ... it was amazing.

Of course Karen from Finance had to put her 2 cents worth in 🤣🤣🤣

Breakfast with the wildlife, king parrots, ducks, cockatoos, rosellas, and a couple of roos ☀️😎

The kids came for breakfast 🤣 they’re so friendly 🤗

They're harmless (except for funnel web spiders), they keep all the other critters away ... this one is a beauty ... her name is/was Charlotte, they let her back out in the wild.

Kangaroos hopping through the garden early this morning.

🤣 I'm more worried about the kangaroos, some of them are pretty big, they're everywhere here, I should see a heap of them this morning. This is where I am, very rural. 🤣 I'm in the guest house on the right. The birds come and sit on the railings.

Friends asked me to look after their house for a few days, beautiful place, this is one of the locals, a King Parrot, nicknamed Felix ... lots of wildlife here, more to come.
