art of my original character Sojimaru. He is the personal retainer to the shogun heir in a roleplay between myself and my wife. Born into nobility, he lost his family young, watching them get wiped out in a single night. He was taken in by a ninja village close to an unknown mountain range, being taught along with other orphans the way of shadow arts. His world and role in it changed from that of possibly being part of the Shogun's court, to being a tool in it's sustaining.

Sojimaru returns ten years later to serve his old, sickly friend, only to fall for the Heir. After months of relearning their friendship, they form a Shudo relationship, though Sojimaru's role, goals and work stay true to what he was taught. Protect the Shogun at all costs, even at the expense of his own life.

Chrystanthemums are a symbol of the japanese imperial family, bringing a sense of nobility to the piece. it is also a symbol of Shudo, a practice of homosexuality in japan before it was outlawed in the Meiji period. blue is often seen as a tranquil colour, though also one of acceptance and moving on. Sojimaru is draped in it, as though still moving on from his life as he knew it and accepting he must continue on, even if it hurts. in his left hand he holds Kusanagi, the sword of the main character in Nioh 3, Tokugawa Takechiyo, replaced in this roleplay and story by my wife's character, Tokugawa Ryoma. The blade is formed from the body of the spirit Kusanagi who accompanies the player character through their journey

Got the body done for Mighty Strike Freedom last night. Unfortunately my back gave up on me so I’ll have to finish the wings today. His feet are probably my fave part? He’s got very pretty heels on 🤷‍♀️😂 #gundam #gunpla

HG Mighty Strike Freedom without the wing backpack on and without weapons. He’s standing up with the fist hands. His arms are forced to be out like that for whatever reason and don’t tuck in more like other Strike Gundam variants. The gold parts are pretty nice though

For my fanfic Choetsu, the piece features Okita Soji among cherry blossoms. His expression is lost, forlorn, as though he’s mourning a piece of himself and a past love. He’s spaced out dragging his hair over his neck while wearing his lover’s Yukata. This is a special piece for the fic, and will be featured in the fall portion.

When I originally posted this, I called him a sad beautiful man, something that I feel is captured in the art

🌸Cherry Blossom Wedding🌸 #yakuza #rgg #kazumaji

A wedding piece done of Majima, dressed as Goromi, and Kiryu, from ryu ga gotoku. It’s based in the timeline of my fanfic Jaded Chrysanthemums. It’s an unfinished fic, but would essentially end with a wedding in Hawaii.

Goromi’s dress is skin tight up top but long and flowing at the bottom. Kiryu is wearing a traditional men’s kimono instead of a suit, they’re holding one another in front of a cherry blossom tree. It’s meant to represent a renewal of their love after so much hardship.

Based off my fanfic Meowning Glory Cat Cafe, this piece depicts the ending of Majima and Kiryu’s first date after years apart. It’s an emotional moment, where Kiryu strips Majima, dressed as Goromi, down and makes aggressive love to him. It’s desperate and wild, showing how long it’s been since either of them had felt open with one another or even with another person.

Kiryu in this is caressing Goromi’s face as her head is back in ecstasy. There is no sexually explicit act being shown, but the mere touch of the man she loves is enough to make her body react.

Art of Majima from Yakuza 0. His eye is missing, plucked from the socket and he’s holding it like a rosary. He’s in a praying pose, akin to Mary, mother of Jesus. His left eye is growing crow wings, evolving from being a bird in a cage to a free bird, but left to be perceived as carrion. He’s crying from the pain of what he’s been through.

This is for an unfinished collaborative fic with my wife called Shed Skin, set in 1988 Japan, where Kiryu is the age he was in yakuza 6, and he tries his best to free a younger, 24 year old Majima from the grip of Shimano.
