Saw this #bee on a #coneflower just before it flew off.

I love the colour of these Plantain #Hostas in my back garden.

The worst part of summer is when the sun starts setting earlier each evening.

Sitting in candle lit room as our power has been out for almost 3 hours. #ygk I just checked the Hydro One Power outage map and the restoration time is being reassessed. It was 9:45pm, then 10:15 and 10:30pm for restore time but maybe later.

The #ygk Amherstview morning sky filled with orange #smoke from the fires from northern Ontario. The air is thick and the smoke smell is strong. Definitely not a day to be outside and to take precautions if you need to go outside.

Visitor #skunk eating the critter peanuts I threw out earlier. My cat was on the step stool, at this back door earlier, getting some fresh air and looking for anything that moved. So glad cat didn't see this visitor 😱🤣.

This peony bush is at my front porch which only gets morning sun. There will be only 6 flowers on this bush.

I've waited a year for these beautiful #peony blooms! 🌱 This is easy facing and this bush doesn't get more than 5 flowers but this year it'll have 6!

We had light rain all night. It was needed. I just took some photos of my back gardens and edited using the enhance feature to give brightness to the gloomy day. The only photo I left untouched is the full patio pic. I need to buy some plants to put into those bare pots, thanks to the squirrels 🙄.

#buttercups, #ferns, #phlox, #honeysuckle, #smokebush in the driveway garden. 🌱 When this garden started out, it was neat and organized with found flat rocks placed at front. All of my gardens started out neat and orderly but my gardens are like my life. 🤣

I decided to take photos around my gardens with my cell phone yesterday evening, when I noticed white flowers had creeped up through the ferns. Turns out my neighbour has a honeysuckle bush that has decided to grow (which I've not noticed before) and it's reached over to my driveway garden. 🌱😁

In 27 years living in this house, this is the most lilac blooms I've seen on these 2 #lilac bushes. 🌱 With the windows open, their perfume wafts throughout the house. This is west facing.

My small #lilac bush 🌱 finally had blooms! Only three but it's a start. This bush, I think is 5 or 6 years old now. I had to put a short fence around it as my husband thought it was a weed, when I first planted it at a foot tall, then he ran over it with the lawn mower. 🤣 It grew back nicely.

Erin's Garden is looking good with returning plants. 🌱3 columbines have grown back amongst the primroses, wild phlox, rampant violas. The hostas are getting larger, the peony is growing past it's cage, the mini rose needs a good cutting back as there is new growth and the wild bluebells appearing

The perfume from the 🌱 #lilacs is all around me.

#Phlox left photo and #Daylilies 🌱 These daylilies will have red blooms. My daughter Erin chose them for the garden. The phlox that grows wildly around here smells of cloves when in flower. I absolutely love them. I let the phlox grow wherever it wants.

The only #daffodil in the Round Garden 🌱. It didn't bloom last year.

🌱 Erin's Garden still covered in leaves as it can get cold at night so I wait until May before I gently rake some out. So many leaves. The Lady of the Round Garden is patiently wait for flowers. Lots of clearing of last year's dead stock to do still.

This pink #Hyacinth came back again in Erin's Garden.

Today is the 9th anniversary of my youngest daughter's sudden, tragic passing at age 26. Photos are of her high school graduation day, with me in the top picture and Erin with her best friend, getting ready for graduation. Her best friend has sent a floral arrangement each year since 2017.

Son-in-law repairing my car. He had to replace the coolant housing all while we are having a snow event on the first day of spring. Now working on getting the air bubbles out. It'll be a few days of drive, stop, check coolant levels.
