Anybody know what this is? I bought some bargain priced flowering plants marked “unknown” after a local garden center lost staff to an ICE raid. Six month in, I recognize 3 of the 5, but two are producing these. #Gardening #Plants #Flowers

Some sadistic SOB broke Waco’s jaw before abandoning her in a fenced yard with a bag of ant infested dog food and a kids swimming pool of water. She never closed her mouth properly again, but was pampered from the day we got her until cancer took her at 17. That crooked smile melted hearts!
My grandson found Sadie on her third trip to death row at the city pound. In her first month with us she did about $3K in damage to furniture and rugs. By the end of six months we stopped counting. Took patience & two tries at obedience school, but she’s been a great companion since.
As you can see from this wedding gown sitting picture, she is doing well thanks to her surgeons and implanted devices.
Life inTexas can get boring, so when we spotted a sign that read Fred Lobster’s Fireworks, we had to stop. Turns out a retiree named Fred spent years putting up Red Lobster signs and picked up the nickname. We bought no fireworks. Hubby was hoping for crustacean inspired rockets. #July4

We always warn house guests to lock the bathroom door if they don’t want company from a dog who wants to make sure no one is drowning whenever he hears the shower. He can turn the handle but hasn’t yet gotten through a locked door.
Thankfully, I will never forget President Obama. I miss him every day.
Glad the dog is safe. The other day, I heard someone say “call the cops, somebody left that dog in the car.” I opened the door and leaned out to say “No, somebody is sitting in the car with her dog and we are both fine.” It was a balmy (for Texas) 81, and there was a breeze. #Dogs
Filled my car today in Dallas for $3.08 a gallon. Diesel is at $4. Back in small town East Texas this evening gas is $3.49 and diesel is $4.39. Still not looking good for farmers & ranchers, but I like the downward trend. Hope it holds. #OilPrices #GasPrice #Inflation

Sadie got her summer cut - 5” of fur gone around her neck and a body that looks 1/3 smaller over all. Wish I could go to the day spa and come home smaller! #DogsOfBlueSky

As I left the polling place today, I was saddened to realize this may be my last vote ever. With the SAVE Act still pending, and my passport renewal stalled again, I may not be allowed to vote in the midterms. The local election judge was reminding voters they will need a “federal ID” in November.
