The historic Notre Dame Cathedral in #Die #France Unfortunately that is not cloud in the sky but instead was smoke arising from the massive forest fire in the Drome to the south of Die #feudeforet

The historic Notre Dame Cathedral in Die France. Restored after it sustained damage during the wars of religion back in time. The smoke in the air was coming from the massive forest fire to the south of the Ville (image taken during the ongoing Drome feu de foret July 2026).

Good on you. As an avid hiker I know how much training etc is required to get over a far lesser injury so that you can get back on the trail.

Of note the research study mentioned below (which is open access), was carried out using tweet data that was obtained from X in 2016 (prior to the milieu inexorably worsening on that site). The results speak for themselves

Summary findings from a research study looking into the nature of the messaging of tweets that were posted onto X back in 2016. The findings are indicative that some subgroups in the community are more frequently being targeted with hateful type messaging.

It is really good to see this push back coming from a number of black physicians and surgeons in the US to those vile comments that were made. I collaborate professionally with some of these individuals. They do not benefit from any so-called pass when it comes to their career progression.
