I have nurtured this guy for 3 years from a mixed hanging basket. Its taken a while, but I finally got blooms. I'm going to try and split it this fall to make more.🌱

Spinach and mushroom calzone for no Meat May. They're sitting on a cutting board my dad made in the shape of Iowa out of our original counter tops. It was the first one and he cut it out backwards. He's been gone 13 years. 🍽

Taco Pizza unintentionally kind of in the shape of a heart. Its what's for supper tonight. 🍽
Decided on "old school" pizza tonight. Half pepperoni with stuffed crust for the granddaughter, beef, olives, mushrooms and onions for the grown ups. We usually do pizza stones and rustic pizza.

It's not uncommon to see Eagles in the area, but this is the first time I've seen them in their nest. There we're two adults, one flew and one is still in there.

A lovely fall morning for coffee on the deck. Yes I know it will be close to 90 this afternoon, but its 54 degrees right now. And the sound of walnuts hitting the tin roof of the chicken coop.
