Oh man. In the U.K. we had a test channel like this, but it had a little girl playing naughts and crosses with a scary clown doll, and a single sawtooth sin wave tone played (like a flatline) in the background. I used to run out the room crying when I woke up too early and cartoons weren’t on yet
