A fenced-off garden next to some rental townhouses. The garden is mostly stone and gravel, with metal bins full of dirt and lots of plants growing in them. There are a few benches as well.

A pot of from-scratch egg noodles in variable shapes, boiled in chicken stock. I've just started making noodles again and I'm having fun! Though this batch needed a little more work, and they're still coming out more like country-style dumplings than noodles.

I told you there would be food picture rewards. Then I got distracted and eventually went to bed. Oops! Here you go. 1/2

Four breaded pork loin chops in a baking tray. It took me a little longer than expected to finish the rest of supper once these were done, so I took them out of the frying pan and into the oven to keep for a bit.

A close-up of a pan-fried breaded pork chop. I was a bit lazy when I did the breading, so it's just a sloppy double-coat. Still turned out good though.

A yellow paste in a red plastic mixing bowl, covered with plastic wrap. The paste is made of garlic, ginger, vegetable oil, some powdered turmeric, and a little turbinado sugar to cut the bitterness. This was my first time making something like this, and I'm pretty pleased with the result overall!

A frying pan on the stove, with a yellow-tan pansauce / gravy. It's fairly thick. The garlic-ginger paste is the star in this sauce.

I am EXTREMELY cheating but whatever i wanna play a blood-powered freeze ray. i got one playing Caves of Qud and eventualy decided to try drawing one. QRP with some #vampires

Paint drawing of a blood-powered freeze ray. It is a mix of old, colorful parts and rust-bitten metal parts that were grafted on in later decades to replace broken compoments. It has a (badly-drawn) wooden stock attached, with a clip hoop. The main body of the gun is a large light-blue cylinder, where the science-magic happens. The end of the barrel has a few prongs that jut out and come back together into the middle, where the freezing cold ray ultimately generates and fires out from. Near the trigger is an open compartment with essentially a big battery-jug of blood, magic science energy crackling through it. Slotted into the top of the battery, sticking out through a hole cut into the gun, is a blood-stained funnel. There is a sponge sitting in the funnel.
The art is signed "de la Nae".
