most of my favourites are of Fray, no surprises there—I love gposing with the tools available to me on console, and then colour correcting & doing other edits in photoshop afterwards. it's a fun process to me! (animations used in the first three are living shadow, stalwart soul, & dark missionary)

every time I go to write about my various xenoblade x universes (canonverse, AUs, etc), I'm always reminded about how many OCs i've made for this game. it's not a lot, but at this point they're as indispensable as the canon characters to me. theyre...... a lot, though. to put it lightly

playing this game 14 years ago legit changed my brain chemistry. even if you don't play the rest of the series, xc1 is peak fiction and should be experienced at least once (plus its very similar to ffxiv with some story stuff, & a lot of the english cast went on to voice in ffxiv in hw-onwards)

I wouldn't call them wholly evil, but they're definitely an antagonist—Sydney's ancient, Ontos, is very much a "delusions of grandeur/god complex" motherfucker tied up with a pretty bow made of soul fuckery also they're technically not dead so that's always fun. i'm sure that won't cause problems.
