I don't think my sweet baby girl is going to be with us much longer. She's been battling bladder cancer for almost 18 months and she's taken a real turn for the worse the last couple of weeks. I knew this was coming but dammit, it sucks. 💔 #DogsOfBluesky #BeaglesOfBluesky
In 2015, our Bernese/Border Collie mix Loki passed away (heck lymphoma). 6 weeks later, a bunch of Beagle mixes from a hunt club were dropped off at the shelter. A little girl chose me, just as Loki had done years before. I believe he whispered in her ear that day. (We renamed her Leia.) ❤️
Having a hot dog at Pink's for the 4th. In fact, I ordered a Rosie O'Donnell in honor of El Puerco, since he loves her so very much. 🤣

Here's Luke (13) and Leia (12) for #SeniorPupSaturday. I think his age is catching up to Luke. He never used to cuddle me unless he didn't feel good. Now he snuggles up to me on the couch every night. Meanwhile, Leia is still fighting bladder cancer, but she's outlived her prognosis! ❤️

Dropped ours in a ballot box a couple of weeks ago. Got our receipt confirmation emails last week! I swear, I love LA, but if people vote for that dipshit.... Here's a photo I took in North Hollywood a few weekends ago. 🙄

Sweet boy Luke's 13th birthday today. He's getting a little cantankerous in his old age, but at least he's predictable when he's grumpy. All in all, still a very good boy.
Not big on sports, but I miss the okonomiyaki fries at our favorite theatre on O'ahu. They also made a really good banh mi hotdog, but I don't have a pic of that.
Yes, and Leia wants you to know that bladder cancer hasn't taken her -- we were a little worried while you were hibernating, but she's still fighting the goofy fight!
Unfortunately, I'm still recovering from hip replacement surgery so I can't attend a #NoKings protest today. However, I'm running errands in an appropriate t-shirt. Whaddya think, @dropkickmurphys.com ?
