Yesterday was Brighton Trans Pride. Today is Trans Care Day at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre. Just had my first ever professional massage -- it was good! And look at the book I found.
"My hair has been plaited since being washed on Sunday"-selfie. (No makeup edition.)
Today's office (at least until my laptop runs out of battery)! With bonus Ollie the cat. (Partner's parents' back garden.)
Good! We sold out -- I can't share much until images/video have been edited for safety. (Some members of the choir do not want to be on social media.) Here's one that has been approved -- me introducing our final song: pink pony club.
It was my choir's summer concert on Tuesday -- otherwise I've spent my week trying to keep cool in a house that was built 120 years ago and not designed for days of high temperatures and humidity. (Today: 31C/88F and average 52% humidity.)
Cute! Mine. (Mainly false ones that I glued on and varnished because my own nails are an adhd-induced wreck: one nail does not have a false nail glued on -- can u spot it?!)
At my partner's parents' for their (my partner) birthday -- having a bbq.
this pic summarises how everyone here felt all last week in our old house that was not designed for high temperatures and humidity here's our version
Today's #mathcoffeeselfie is in my back garden, which is getting rather wild. I'm finally reading the book I should have read before yesterday when I stood in a shopping mall and talked about the maths of soap films to any passing shopper who made the mistake of catching my eye.
Tfw Google search ai states things about u that aren't true. (Context: Friend told me that someone was trying to draw jkr's attention to me on x -- I was looking for info.) Is there anything I can do?
This Saturday. I really ought to prepare for what im going to do.
If it's not, then I'm completely failing. (The dress looks really good on you.)
I have no idea if I'm going to like this. (Lidl purchase a few days ago.)
Today I'm back in black following yesterday's experiment in pink (linked) at another Pride. I'm still marking exam scripts and am using the pictured timer to measure each stint. bsky.app/profile/dens...
Today's Thame Pride outfit. (My choir performed and I was trying to find colours that matched our lavender T-shirts -- not pictured.) Normal goth black will resume tomorrow.
Today is University Senate and I'm attending in person. Over 270 pages and almost 80k words across the papers. Several of which are really significant -- modifications to our Charter, our Statutes, a new University Strategy, and proposals on genAI and assessment. I am very tired.
U are completely gorgeous in this pic! 🤩 (trust my demisexual pan self on this) My hair is very fine and fair (and a little thin in places) but I did once make a big effort to increase its volume.
Today's and last week's "day before my birthday"-edition. Same book in both: @tkingfisher.com's Clockwork Boys -- l've now finished it, so will start second book, The Wonder Engine, shortly. Crop top says "Tinder Girl" -- celebrates a song by Bristol punk bank The Menstrual Cramps.

teen goth girl me, who never got to exist, would be so happy to see this bag (hanging on a wall in my bedroom)
I had a lovely time yesterday celebrating my birthday by wandering around Soho and Covent Garden checking out the sights and spending far too much money! I visited the Admiral Duncan pub for the first time -- not how I imagined it at all. Thanks everyone for all the birthday wishes!
It's my birthday -- I'm 56! Not so many years ago, I thought I'd never make it to here. But I have and I'm so happy. Alex got me some amazing gifts! 😍
Oxford Pride! My choir is performing at 1.30pm. (Oxford Proud Voices.)
Today is a more normal eyeliner (plus mascara) and lipstick day. Although I had 2 hours of electrolysis on Monday and my face is still recovering, so I'm not feeling pretty. (That's why I used full makeup in the office yesterday.)
i normally only do eyeliner and lipstick most days -- however, today i went full-on and used foundation etc. (see pic) summary: some makeup -- 5 or more days a week full makeup -- rarer, once every few weeks and usually because i'm going out and want to dress up
Non-binary trans femme in her office! The whiteboard shows evidence that the (now) 16yo was here about 9 or 10 years ago.
