I used to be in a community that had some people like that, they had to be bullied out of that behaviour because asking nicely did nothing -- they didn't give a shit that they were hurting feelings or making people uncomfortable (comic belongs to mattielubchansky.com here on bluesky)

There is exactly one thing I will give the GC face button layout and it's how easy it is to hit A in combination with B, X, or Y with a minimum of hand adjustment. Compare that to trying to press any combination except X/A or Y/B. (yes I know how tiny and insignificant this advantage is lol)
