We finished another room. Pretty proud of this one too. Three people can stay in this one (as long as two are happy sharing a bed). Chambres d'hotes in western France, you say? Et voila.

We're doing chambres d'hote in our 19th-Century presbytery in western France*, and I'm pretty proud of the first room we've gotten fully finished. We're thinking writers' retreats in the off-season. *Not currently on fire.

The "Green Room" has an older-style wooden double bed, green walls (naturally) and an en-suite bathroom. It looks pretty classy, if I say so myself.

The shower fits into an alcove, with the washstand - a sink that sits on a 100-year-old beside locker we found - at the door. Above it there's a mirror with an ornate oval frame, just don't tell anyone it's plastic.
