Doug DeJulio
@dfjdejulio
If you follow me and I have no idea who you are, I'm likely to block you.
This reminds me: when I was radioactive for a couple of weeks last year (cancer treatments), I made a *point* of biting a variety of things. Like: this is a mantis shrimp that's literally been bitten by a radioactive Doug.
Look at the gift @lizardincrimson.bsky.social managed to find for me!
That's Walter, my Maine Coon girl who *loves* snuggling. (Yes, she's a purebreed, but she's *also* a rescue.)
To make a toy for ours, my wife had to start with a dog toy, take out one of the squeekers, and replace it with a catnip pouch. She's an *enormous* cat. And a complete sweetie.
It was this little sweetie. Terrible picture, yes, but I took it on a digital camera I got in the 1990s (which is when we got her, too).
Hey, I found a *surefire* way to 100% prevent cavities in at least two of my teeth!
It was a lot of work to get into (and out of!), but I think I'm ready for tomorrow. But only because @lizardincrimson.bsky.social helped me put it on and take it off -- it's not a one-person job.
Sometimes Walter sits in things that aren't quite the right size for her as well.
