Next week I’ll speak (in Spanish) at the National University of Salta 🇦🇷 about CPython, its governance, and the role of Core Developers. Building bridges between university students and the global open source community matters. Open source grows through people. The talk will be streamed online.
My talk has been accepted for #EuroPython 2026: “Update on the CPython JIT: What to expect in 3.15” Very happy to see this was the most voted talk in the community voting! 😎 See you in Kraków at @europython.eu
The CPython Core Dev Sprint 2025 in Cambridge is a wrap, the biggest and best yet! 🎉🐍 50+ core devs, Python 3.14rc2 released, Arm talks on ISA/compilers, and a true Cambridge experience! I’ve shared the full story (with photos) on LinkedIn 👉 www.linkedin.com/feed/update/...
I gave a talk at @europython.eu about “Exploring the CPython JIT” where I go to a journey in the execution pipeline, from the Python source code to native machine code. Feel free to reach me out if you have any question.
Just attended my first Python Language Summit! 🐍 A day full of fascinating discussions, ideas, and brilliant people. Grateful to be part of this amazing community.💙 #PyConUS
I'm thrilled to announce that my proposal “Exploring the CPython JIT” has been accepted at @europython.eu 🐍🚀 I look forward to sharing an in-depth look into the technical details of JIT compilation for CPython. See you at #EuroPython2025
I’m really excited to announce that the CPython project (www.python.org) has hit a huge milestone by integrating the Arm runners on GitHub! This isn’t just a tech update; it’s a sign of the awesome collaboration in the Python community. 😎
It looks like a very well made phishing website. The certificate is valid for the domain, meaning the connection between you and yong.hu is encrypted. Nowadays you can get a certificate for a few bucks. It is written nowhere that the certificate belongs to GitHub. I would raise it with them.
If you see this, post a concert photo you took! I cannot believe this to be my first post here :) 🤘🎸
