How do you draw hair (erases everything for fourth pass, neglecting actual job)

Yeah, I could draw like a few lines for comic book hair... but that looks dumb on a "painted" face with lots of lovely smudging and shadow. Hair sucksm, and Kenny's is wild. I joked this was my fourth pass; it's probably way more than that

Never read the comments (duh), but this is my favorite manga that doesn't currently have an official translation; Noa-senpai wa Tamodachi. It's an extremely slow burn romance (?) about a cat who is so uninterested in romance he might be ace, and a young woman who is clingy and bipolar. It's funny
