Something pretty for a stupid week. Purple Crownvetch. Here used for erosion control but considered an invasive species in some states but still really pretty.

Got bored in lab while running stds so I slipped 1 of my @peculiarityshop.bsky.social rings into the pXRF (portable Xray fluorescence) unit - use them to determine elemental composition. It shows 91.48% silver (±2sigma value has to do w/ how ideal the spectra is) w/ the instrument set up for soils.
