Flowers seen on today's (very slow) dog walk. The first is a weed, I think. The second is cultivated. The dogs needed extra sniffing time after so long without a proper walk. (It's been smoky)
Sorry if this is weird but that reminds me of the inner sleeve of the Tattoo You LP by the Rolling Stones. (I'm pretty old, and this was from the vinyl edition of a 1981 release, so I think the median bsky user wouldn't know about this).
Name a film with a title that is a full sentence Hope that counts. If not, "Who's afraid of Virginia Wolf"
From a recent trip to Hong Kong, there were a few small hops specializing in various kinds of industrial equipment. This one had all sorts of hooks and pulleys. They will sell you what you need! Others had electric motors, others all kinds of wrenches, another had wire and cabling.
I made bread today, the first time since mid-May. Glad my starter is still active. It didn't stay whole for very long. :-)
The Man Machine, Kraftwerk. One of several records I bought with my first paycheck. On vinyl.
post a picture of yourself from the past that puts you in a light people on here wouldn't expect I'm in the middle in the blue shirt, swimsuit, and uh leather sandals. Tug of war of course. Lordy, 2006.
Film you've watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Star Trek, Star Wars, LOTR, Marvel, Disney, or Ghibli. Ok, so I'm a sap
I've been traveling and so hadn't run in two weeks (I know, not an excuse). I wanted a steady run to get back to the routine. It was pouring rain this morning so I ran in the local Velodrome. Pace 6:48/km Time 35m 43s Distance 5.24km Pretty happy with how I felt. #running
Visited the incredible Ruïnes d'Empúries at L'Escala Spain. A key point to me was these prosperous societies were consciously multicultural.
Made pancakes from scratch. Feels like an Easter-y thing to do. This is what's left
Ah yes, here it is. This is not exactly from my old cubicle, but close enough.
My pet theory is that Tom Brady and Giselle Bundchen split because she got him into FTX crypto. (She was featured in hilarious 4 page ad spreads in summer 2023 with her first, then you turn the page and see schlumpy SBF) The stakes are so low I don't care if it's true.
