Hi! I produce the Batteries Included Podcast My personal EV channel And I write songs that I will record before I die. Hopefully.
If you like long ambient sound videos, here's one with over 2 hours of Chiang Mai, Thailand. With the camera pointing towards Doi Suthep, an afternoon shower is in progress and as it lessens and the sky brightens, the mountain emerges and soon sets. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ueZJ...
Congrats to Romain Dumas for his over-all win at Pikes Peak yesterday in the Ford Super Mustang Mach-E with his crazy time of 8:18.202. That's only 21.054 seconds slower than his best time, set in 2018, in the (also electric) Volkswagen ID. R.
Had a genuinely visceral reaction to the BMW M Concept Neue Klasse. It looks ready right now, as is. Please don't mess with this design, BMW.
Found another local market and picked up this fruit called santol to try. Apparently, the inside is like cotton candy. 🤷♂️ Guess we'll find out.
Started watching this Autogefühl comparison video and right about at this point could see the old BMW 2002 design hidden within the new iX3. It's no Ferrari Luce, but there's lots of hate for the iX3 design out there, but I think it looks pretty great here. Maybe it's the red? 🤷♂️
Don't think I ever had green curry before spending time in Thailand, but pretty sure it's my favorite now. This bowl was pretty spicy but it's so good the heat can't slow me down.
There are about 1,000 new examples left in the US. Thought this was a pretty great deal on the quick one (3.4 seconds 0-60). 2026 Volvo EX30 Plus Twin Motor Performance www.cars.com/vehicledetai...
I'm all about EVs but my first car pic in Chiang Mai is this Toyota Corona Mark II from between '72 and '76. Did see an Ora Good Cat GT that I hope to find again, but no pic (yet).
"Driver arrested after ‘intentionally' driving Cybertruck into Grapevine Lake" Wonder where he got the idea it can act as a boat? www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/d...
The airport in Singapore has a random robot roaming the halls, its mission unclear. 🤖
I was near the monkey sanctuary here, but didn't go in partly because I didn't want to get robbed by a monkey. 😅 I did see this family up the street, but they seemed to mostly have moving on their minds.
Of course, being worth hundreds of billions of dollars, Elon Musk could pay for this group's airfare and hotels for the new date. But, instead of apologizing or making such an offer, this is what he's tweeting: 2/2
Three days before the event for people who just spent $159,420 on a Signature vehicle - BOOM! This sends a message: if Tesla treats its very best customers this way, how will they treat the average Model Y owner, or companies considering buying a fleet of Semis? 1/2
Ok, America. It's time. You can now reserve an EV that gets over 400 miles of range and offers incredible driving dynamics. www.bmwusa.com/vehicles/x-s...
Trying to EV-spot (hello, BYD M6) but all I can think of is how awesome scooter culture is.
Dreame just debuted its Nebula Next 01 Jet Edition. Packing solid-state batteries and 1,876 electric HP, it's claimed to hit 62 MPH in just .9 seconds with help from twin solid rocket boosters. Yes, rocket boosters. 😂 cnevpost.com/2026/04/28/d...
$61,995 for a 2023 BMW i7 xDrive60 that stickered at least double. 24,405 miles. This thing is sick and whoever gets it will be pretty thrilled. I'd wait a couple of weeks before pulling the trigger, though (new refresh coming which could hit used prices). www.cars.com/vehicledetai...
I see ABC (Australia) has answers to its readers most burning questions.
Having a sunset dinner to celebrate no civilizations being destroyed by a madman this week.
