#ZombieSteve52 is celebrating the 90s Indie Boom this week, and it's time to finally cross this off my list. I've missed it on Criterion Channel a couple of time, but now I'm finally making use of my Mubi subscription.
It's So Bad It's Good week for #ZombieSteve52 and this is generally not a concept I agree with since I believe if I like it, it's good. That said, this is playing at my local cinema, isn't on RT, looks kinda like a Power Rangers fan film, and has solid reviews from people I trust. Counting it.
The last prompt for #Junesploitation is ‘80s Comedy! and even though I made my list over a month ago I'm still watching my cheap DVD of this on the same day it's released on 4K. That's some magic coincidence. I may squeeze a bonus in after, but this is it for my original 30. Another good June.

It's Slashers! day for #Junesploitation and what better way to pick a slasher than to just go for the best cover with a wacky skeleton. This has been on my radar for a while, but it keeps falling just short of my list for Junesploitation, Hoopertober, ZombieSteve52, 100HorrorMoviesIn92Days, etc
It's Exploitation Auteurs! day for #Junesploitation, and I just happen to have a Herschell Gordon Lewis box set I haven't finished. An uncomfortable movie made with normal HGL quality.
It's after 12:00 ADT, so I'm going to get a start on Revenge! day for #Junesploitation before bed and finish tomorrow, but I don't want to forget to post. One of the prime examples of the Revenge subgenre, the fact that this is a five movie franchise makes me thing Bronson isn't a safe guy to know.

For Black Filmmakers! day this #Junesploitation I'm going with what Letterboxd lists as Eddie Murphy's sole directorial outing. It's listed as a crime/comedy and has a lot of comic actors, but it's not very funny so far. It's okay as a crime movie though.
When you think Franco Nero! your mind probably goes to some awesome westerns or maybe an Italian police movie, so naturally for #Junesploitation I'm going with a movie from the director of The Apple where it's all about ninjas.
It's Hong Kong Action! day for #Junesploitation so John Woo and Chow Yun Fat seem like an obvious choice. I saw the American made for TV remake back in the 90s and remember enjoying it, but never saw the original. This will probably make me miss The Action Pack.
It's a Free Space! day for #Junesploitation and somehow I came across this. I love 80s movies with heavy use of computers despite the writers obviously having zero knowledge of them. That said, so far this movie is weirdly prescient about some things... just 40 years too early.
