Happy Anniversary to my one true love, now and always, my own Mr. Alex Carrick. ❤️❤️🎉🎉🎊🎊
Wishing an amazing happy birthday to our own dear Tammy! Between Gotcha Day, September 1, 2093 and now, the years have slipped away like magic. We are incredibly proud of the excellent adult you have become. And now, at 24, we love you even more than ever and always will.
Six of 28 complete. Really enjoying my hand-drawn sunflowers 🌻 and painting with fabric.
Thrilled with the new BBQ delivered this morning. Can't wait till it's hooked up for an inaugural spin! Thanks for Alex for all the prelim work, clearing a path for the delivery.

One final Teams meeting to say farewell to this exceptional Finance team at ERIS Information. You have been wonderful colleagues, team players, and above all, friends! Wishing each of you a long and rewarding life, both inside your careers, and in your personal lives.
My very last day in the office. I’ve been blessed with a 50-year career, spanning wonderful teams and challenges and rewards. But I’ve never worked with a better, sharper or kinder group of people. I will miss you all dearly. Thank you for today and for last week and for the past 36 years.
An incredible day. Too many people to thank right now, but the gratitude is deep and sincere. Thank you all for the fabulous retirement party!
5 years ago today. Our wee monster, Maestro, was born April 18, and came home with us to his forever home to be Darcy's little brother on June 5. What a sweet face, eh?! Love you dear boy. Happy Pup-aversary!
One of those freaky, weirdly calm moments... Just realized that in exactly 2 weeks, June 19, I will be officially retired. It has been a great run, and I'm so very grateful to have been blessed with safe, good employment throughout my adult life!! Looking forward to my first summer off in 50 years!
I’ve never seen a full flock of vultures like this! There must be a big creature, maybe a deer or bear down in the hood.
Next up, number 15, will be Harbor Gallery, artist David MaClean, Cobble Hill puzzles. Should be a winner!
Simply stunning. What a pleasure to complete! Number 14, Woven Sunshine, eye candy for anyone who loves fabric art. Not the most challenging, but wouldn’t have missed this one. It will stay in my cottage collection.
Happy heavenly birthday to my dear late sister, Deborah Anne. 49 years have passed since you found a way out of your pain. I have missed you every day for 49 years. My love always.
On the table for next week, number 14: Woven Sunshine, by Larkipuzz puzzles. A crafter’s dream, with glossy, colourful pieces and this fabulous quilted dress. I’ve had my eye on this one for a while!
At long last, number 13, Princess and dragon, is complete! This stunning and whimsical image from the Anne Stokes collection, Educa Puzzles, was a real challenge for me, due to large blocks of similar colours. This was a gift from a dear friend, and I’ll cherish it in my cottage collection.
Happy Victoria Day to all who celebrate it!! Three straight days of gardening, bbq and family. Heaven!!
I really don't have a lot of regrets in my life. I've been blessed despite a pretty horrific beginning to end up exactly where I want to be, with the people I love most. Love and gratitude to Alex for being by my side the whole way. It's been an incredible journey!
I’m a lucky mom. Hope all the moms out there had a lovely weekend.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! And Happy Mother’s Day in heaven to my own dear mom.
Such a busy couple of days! I keep meaning to post this silly pic of us from Saturday morning, having breakfast at Sunset Grill. It’s always fun toodling with my guy.
Lucky #13 will be this whimsical Educa puzzle from their Anne Stokes collection, a misty Celtic-style princess and dragon. Thanks to our dear friend who gifted this one to me for my April birthday!
This one was far more challenging than it appears, thanks to the abundace of green . #12, Emerald Bookstore, by artist Tara Younggren of Villager Puzzles. A pleasure to reconstruct. High quality pieces and a fabulous subject matter.
Next up, #12, will be Emerald Bookstore, by artist Tara Younggren of Villager Puzzles. It probably says something about me that my loved ones gave me three puzzles for my birthday, and two of them were bookstores! Haha
